I recently stayed at Alveston Manor and thoroughly enjoyed the elegant decor and beautiful gardens. The pool provided a nice option for relaxation, although a bit busy at times. Minor issues with breakfast timings didn't overshadow an otherwise lovely experience.

Just a good match for a concise stay in Stratford-upon-Avon with fantastic value for money. The staff were great and the room was clean and bed was excellent. Make sure to book in the newer area of the hotel for a bit more comfort.

The room was quite spacious but the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The air conditioning barely helped, so it felt too hot at times. The bathroom had some cleanliness issues with hair on the floor, which was a bit off-putting. A nice touch was the fluffy towels and complimentary water. it had a mix of decent amenities but also some maintenance issues that needed addressing.

Nice hotel with amenities like wi-fi, an indoor swimming pool, and a fitness centre. The staff helped me find transport during my first stay, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend for a relaxing city break!

We had a comfy stay with our twins. The pool was a hit with the kids, but the rooms could use an upgrade—def more basic than expected. Breakfast was decent, but super crowded and chaotic. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the town center, which was fab for exploring.

Great location right by the river and near the theatre. Our room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a nice private bathroom with shampoo and towels. The pool was 18m long, and there’s a steam room and sauna too. Breakfast was decent with a good buffet selection. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick.

Couple seeking a decent stay

The staff were fantastic when we checked in they really helped us with our bags and the bar man even tossed us a free drink while we waited for our room which wasn’t ready at 3pm but that guy was great at handling it and the food in the restaurant is definitely a highlight the kitchen staff really nailed it

We had a really nice time overall. The room was comfy and super clean, and the staff were friendly, especially in the bar area. The location was perfect for exploring Stratford-upon-Avon. service at the bar was a bit slow, which was kinda annoying. Breakfast in bed could've been better too, as it was a bit cold.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, especially the fantastic pool which the kids loved. Being close to Shakespeare's attractions made it easy for us to explore the beautiful town. The breakfast was also a hit with the whole family.

My kids wished for better food options for children. The pizza they had was frozen and not up to par with what we expected from a luxury stay.

The elegant period features throughout the hotel, like the exquisite stained glass windows and charming lounges, made me feel at home. The garden with its ancient cedar tree was a peaceful retreat, perfect for leisurely strolls.
